Hey star-gazers! Hang onto your beach balls for an action-packed June! Here are a few highlights before we tackle the energies of the week.
Mercury zips through Gemini between June 11–27. Expect flooded inboxes, packed social calendars and high-octane networking potential. Trines to Pluto and Saturn on June 9 and 30 are great for concentrated mental work, while the June 25 square to Neptune should have you hitting the beach since you won’t get much done with your head in the clouds.
Venus enters its pre-retrograde shadow on June 19, so hold off calling that surfer you met on the boardwalk. With the Alchelmical Goddess’ entry into fiery Leo on June 5, expect creative self-expression and pleasure to take centre stage. Her trine to Neptune on June 2 has weekend spa retreat written all over it, with relaxation and meditation a perfect pairing for this luxurious aspect. Watch the opposition to Pluto on June 5 for anyone who might be trying to steal your power.
Consider Mars the lion that sleeps in Leo this month, only waking up to roar on June 26. The square to Uranus holds explosive potential, so take all necessary precautions!
The June 3 Sagittarius Full Moon and June 18 Gemini New Moon promise to be lovely lunations that will have us thinking about expanded horizons and new ways of communicating our ideas.
Saturn and Neptune turn retrograde on June 17 and June 30 respectively — topics in our life under the auspices of the fishes will get a reality check — while Pluto moonwalks back into Capricorn on June 11 causing cardinal placements to clutch their sunscreen.
Ultimately, there’s a lot to enjoy this month, so make the most of what the sweet aspects have to offer!
Let’s dig into the week ahead.

The last days of May have one slightly crunchy transit, namely the Sun-Saturn square.
With the Sun in Gemini, we’re in a fairly heightened place of intellectual vibration, trying to take in as much information as we can, think fast on our feet, and network our way into new situations that help advance our ambitions. But Saturn in Pisces has other plans — he’s the nay-sayer, the lead weight and the party pooper.
The square the Sun forms could zap some of our personal energies, leading us to feel a little bummed either by the trajectory of our personal relationships or with authority figures.
Chin up because this transit won’t last long; before you know it, we’ll be sliding into June with a whole new set of planetary movements that hold new potential for us and for our hopes and dreams.
On May 30, Vesta conjuncts Uranus in Taurus, offering a pleasant, if unexpected insight into how we go about our daily routines and keep our internal fires stoked to the max.
Uranus’ impulse towards novelty, innovation, individuation and differentiation could have us considering how we might break the monotony of the day-to-day, or streamline the less glamorous aspects of life so we have more time for pleasure. This aspect will be operative for a few days, so consider the time ripe for inspired ideas to take hold!
Venus in Cancer’s trine to Neptune in Pisces on June 2 makes this a red-letter day letting our imaginations roam. This may not be the best day for productivity, but it certainly has dreamy potential in spades.
Where relationships are concerned, we may find ourselves coming down from the harsher energies of the Sun-Saturn square, relating to others on a more compassionate, intuitive and emotional level. Let your feelings guide you where interactions with others are concerned.
Early on June 3, the Moon enters Sagittarius and, by bedtime (EDT!), it will oppose the Sun in Gemini, forming a fiery Full Moon that brings matters commenced under 2022’s Sagittarius New Moon to fruition.
The bold and adventurous undertones that a Sagittarius Moon invariably imparts may be a boon to this lunation. While the lunation ruler, Jupiter, is in a slightly tougher quincunx to the Moon, it is nonetheless configured by mutual reception — the Moon as the exaltation ruler of Taurus and Jupiter as the domicile ruler of Sagittarius — which could ultimately allow any tension this Full Moon offers to be resolved through finding sensuous pleasure in the pursuit of our highest mind and spiritual interests.
Mars in Leo is also forming a trine to this lunation, although the Moon is separating from the partile aspect at the exact moment of the Full Moon. In the lead up, you may have felt a sudden push towards creative self-expression and an impulse that saw you prioritizing your personal passion agenda over other concerns in a more concerted effort to get what you want out of life.
I also like that the Moon is separating from a square to Saturn in Pisces, suggesting to me that any emotional reserve and difficulties in making our dreams manifest may now be behind us.
